WHY TO USE TRACTS
A.C.T.S. Tracts is a helps ministry that, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, writes, produces, and distributes free witnessing materials to those who cannot afford to donate for them. Our focus is on equipping the saints with tracts, scripture helps, as well as personal evangelism workshops and seminars. We also assist church leadership in mobilizing witnessing teams and preparing their church bodies to minister to the unsaved.
These materials are intended for Christian brothers and sisters that are sharing Jesus Christ and Him crucified from sound historic Christian doctrine. It is crucial that all of us look at the doctrine we are being taught, or may be teaching, and ask God for direction and discernment. We must be like the Bereans--As the Apostle Paul shared about Jesus with them, they examined what he taught by holding it up to the light of scripture. They made sure that his teachings were in the proper context which God had intended. Remember this very wise saying that we can apply to any of the teachings that are going on today within the body of Christ: "IF IT'S NEW IT'S NOT TRUE, AND IF IT'S TRUE IT'S NOT NEW."
Beware of the Bible teachers that created, or that are embracing the many new waves of sinful madness that permeate the Body of Christ today. They are causing Christians to stumble, and leading others to spend eternity with Satan they are who we believe Jesus warns us against in 2 Peter 2:1-13, and of whom the Apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15.
If you examine these new teachings closely, you will see that these false teachers are taking scriptures out of context. Remember how the Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses got their start? They told those that were not grounded in God's Word that God had given them a 'new vision.' They backed their 'revelations' by convoluting scriptures out of their original intent; hence new false teachings were born.
The Holy Spirit-inspired Word of God is simple, pure, and unchangeable. We must read each scripture in context. Remember, God does not come up with these new fads, man does. Please remember to read what Jesus teaches us in Matthew 7:21-23.
We pray that we can be a blessing to your ministry, whether our tracts are used for personal evangelism, church or ministry witnessing teams. We love our brothers and sisters that share their faith. The true definition of an evangelist is; anyone with a testimony that is wiling to share it. If you are born again, you do have a testimony! If you have a testimony and are willing to share it, you are an evangelist.
Jesus commanded all Christians into service as He gave instruction to the disciples in Acts 1:8, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Jesus is commanding us to be witnesses of Him in our hometowns, across town, and wherever the Holy Spirit may lead. The mission field is in our neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and within our extended families. We pray that God will use you in a mighty way. Remember to keep your eyes upon Jesus, and to seek Gods face evermore.
